I need to think through my contests more carefully! For example, how the heck do I expect myself to pick only 4 winners out of the 63 glorious responses that were posted? I want to send a gift to each and every one of you.
But alas, I cannot. I tried to pick four but had not way to narrow them down. Everyone had very compelling reasons for being interested in this deck, not just “I want to win something.”
It was so happy-making to hear how many of you liked the images, were interested in a non-traditional deck, and, in particular, liked the use of the Book of Shadows as the “Hierophant.” That was one of my favorite inspirations in this project.
The next time I do a contest like this, I think I will have to employ an outside judge.
Consequently, I resorted to a kind of outside judge…a random number generator.
